SELLER PREFERENCES Option Disappeared 🤷â€â™‚ï¸
Having just got off the telephone to my second eBay rep conversation (first one cut me off after not understanding my question) I am still non the wiser as to how or why my SITE PREFERENCES has disappeared! This is not rocket science and to have to wait for an email or a call back without some sort of explanation is very frustrating. I mean this should be basic information and clear to any tech rep.
i felt as though both reps inc the tech rep either didn’t understand the option or had no idea why “site preferences†had vanished and couldn’t give me a meaningful answer, the second rep (tech) was more helpful than the first but I didn’t appreciate being led into a primitive and bodged work around which would have to be repeated after every sale which would be extremely time consuming and inefficient.
I just wish eBay would stop tinkering with a workable system or at least train / notify their workforce when they do because sometimes I might aswell speak to the wall and that’s not a slight on the reps it’s just a reflection of the woeful communication across the platform which I encounter far too often.
I’ve been selling on eBay for over 18yrs and I know right away when I’m talking to someone who doesn’t have a clue, you develop an insight not to mention an acute knowledge of the eBay system / platform and how it should be working and where it’s failing or simply glitching (which is far too often).
