Roughly 1500 of my Feedback Left For Others has Disappeared
Roughly 1500+ of my Feedback Left For Others have Disappeared off of my Feedback Profile.
I Contacted eBay and got Nowhere other than telling me it's Their Policy.
My Page Currently Shows 1547 Feedback Received with 977 as a buyer and 565 as a seller (which only adds up to 1542 making me wonder where Those 5 missing feedback's are), while my FEEDBACK LEFT FOR OTHERS which Was Just Under 1700 having Left Feedback for nearly 200 More People Than I've Gotten Mine From, is only showing 177 Total Left for Other People.
Like Many People, I like to look at the feedback of people I'm dealing with, looking at the Type of Feedback They Give and Receive, along with the number of feedback's so I know if I'm dealing with someone that cares about their customers or if they're only in it for the money and Can't Be Bothered to Leave Feedback for anyone else. With Nearly 1500 of Mine Disappearing, it makes it look like I Only Leave Feedback for 10% of the people I Deal With, and THAT Is NOT The Case.
I Want My FULL Feedback Back Where it Belongs.

OP1 year ago@wastingtime101 @gator08041971 @mcdougle4248 @kyle@ebay Anybody else notice that Now all of the sudden while the Feedback Received Count Appears Accurate, the actual Feedback Comments only go back as far as <200 on "All Feedback Received" and "Received as Buyer" and a measly <50 Comments showing under "Received as Seller"
Seems like eBay "Fixes" one thing only to Screw Up Three Other Things in the process.

On my account, the Comments numbers look good except for Received as buyer. Received as buyer indicates 444 comments; however, only 126 show.

All your feedback left for others does show but I have to wonder why you'd want it to show. As you say, you like to know the type of people you're dealing with and for sellers to check your feedback left, they're likely to block you when they see what they're dealing with!
And FWIW, when you make a purchase, you're NOT buying feedback and an item. You are buying the item.
Since feedback is optional, many buyers and sellers don't leave feedback.

OP1 year ago@albertabrightalberta, I Have No Problem with people seeing the HONEST and FACTUAL Feedback I Leave For Others.
As for Not Buying Feedback, That would be YOUR OPINION which Doesn't Matter to me. I Pay For BOTH, Feedback AND The Item purchased, whether You do or not is irrelevant.

It would be Nice if eBay Just Left Things Alone instead of constantly "Making Changes Just to be Making Changes" cause Every Time They Change Things, It's Rarely EVER For the Better. All They Do is Make it Harder to Navigate What Used to be a Simple Process.

·1 year agoTo me, it looks like another glitch. It may not be an intentional change by eBay.
When I look at your account and @biggymoe account while signed in to my account (not using incognito) feedback left for others looks good based on the numbers you have shared here.

Fact it only happens when you’re signed in is further confirmation.
Did you check a diff browser @mcdougle4248 to see if it’s purely account-based or also browser-based?

·1 year agoI was using Chrome, and I just checked using Firefox, and the results are the same.

·1 year agoThanks. Whatever this is, it appears to be only impacting a small number of accounts.
If someone's account is affected they can click the ? icon on the bottom right of the page and file a tech report.

·1 year agoWhen you click your feedback page, change the sort filter from "most relevant" to "most recent" - all of your FB are there.

OP1 year agoThe "Filters" only apply to FEEDBACK RECEIVED, at least on mine. There Are No "Filters" on LEFT FOR OTHERS
If YOUR Page shows otherwise, it just means they haven't gotten to yours yet.

·1 year agoYou apply the filter when viewing all feedback. After applying the filter you switch to your feedback left tab.

OP1 year agoI've Tried All of that numerous before and after contacting eBay by phone and before posting this thread on it.
The "Filter" Only Applies to Feedback Received, As a Buyer and As a Seller, but Again, There Are NO Filters for Feedback Left For Others Even When Clicking on Most Recent (or any other option) on the other three lists.
Again, if it Hasn't Happened on YOUR Page (YET), It's Only a Matter of Time before 90% of Your Feedback Left For Others Disappears on You As Well.

·1 year agoIs it still missing when you use a private browsing window?
A couple weeks ago a tech issue resulted in masses of FB hidden from view then restored in less than 24 hrs. Maybe you have to delete your browser cookies to see the fix.
Your account has 1,752 FB left for others.

Anyone else have this problem?
Any ideas?
