REFUND Payment Complete ... Order Data still not update after 10 Hours
Summary: time-2-sell_collectables shared an experience where they refunded a buyer $85 for shipping but noticed the order details were not updated despite receiving a completion confirmation in Seller Hub. They contacted customer support and were informed that it might take 24-48 hours for the systems to update. mkaczorsee commented that no further action is needed if the refund appears completed in the Seller Hub.
Buyer paid Calculated Shipping Charge $ 125.60 on a $ 148.71 Order. I was surprised they even paid that shipping, but It was an oversized package and shipping from MD - CA .
After packing and purchasing the actual eBay discounted shipping label. I wanted to refund the buyer the excess and process a refund request to Buyer as a Shipping Discount of $85.00
I received eBay email at 9:00 AM EST ...
Your refund of $85.00 is in process ... Refund ID: 5205522016
I am still waiting for the normal Order # has been refunded email
No refund is reflected on Order details.
I checked my Seller Hub payments and the Refund ID: 5205522016 is COMPLETED
Contacted Customer support and was told eBay systems need 24-48 Hours to update.

But, if your Seller Hub is showing refund completed….nothing more for you to do.

OP1 week agoContacted Customer Support again after 24 hours and this agent submitted a work ticket to Technical Support Team, I finally received Refund Complete email and Oder Details were updated ... only took about 10 minutes to be corrected
