Promoted rate dialog box broken on listing page

The listing page has apparently been updated as evidenced by the new photos dialog box. That works, but the dialog box where you input the desired % for your promotion does not allow you to enter a value with one digit (i.e. you can't enter 9% or lower). I had to list the item without promotion and then change it after the fact.

Looks like there might be another report of this same issue here:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Ad-Rate-Input-Field-Glitchy-When-Making-New-Listing/m-p/34649176/highlight/true#M2450761

@devon@ebay @kyle@ebay can you get this reported to the appropriate team please?

Thanks @devon@ebay ! Just for an additional point of reference - it seems possible this issue with the ad rate box may have been introduced at the same time as changes to the image and video upload process were brought back.

Yesterday when I captured that gif of the ad rate issue, I had noticed the image upload section was different as well, like the OP, and others have since also confirmed they are seeing these image upload changes that had been tested back in April are now back in the listing form.

It's not a definitive connection by any means, but could be useful to mention to the Product team as it might point them in the right direction.

Did you also notice @valueaddedresource the odd formatting issue that popped up a couple days ago where the weight field has misaligned entry boxes?

Point of reference: it's happening in Safari but not Firefox on Mac. I don't have a PC to check.

Didn't bother reporting since it does not affect function; mentioning only to confirm eBay's been making changes to the listing form this week.

Thanks @wastingtime101 ! I didn't notice that but it's not like that for me today so I'm guessing either it didn't impact pc/Chrome or they fixed it along with the ad rate box.

I only saw it in Safari and it's still not fixed @valueaddedresource - but, like I said, does not affect function so it's a non-issue. Relevant only to show they're tinkering. 😉

Hey @valueaddedresource! The Product team just let me know that this should be back to working as intended.

Thanks @devon@ebay ! I just checked it in a draft and it does appear to be back to working correctly now. ðŸ‘

@jkramer2 what I'm seeing is that there appears to be a display issue where it's not showing the digits as you type and/or if you type 3 digits it shows it partially cut off, but if you put in a single digit and then click out of that window, it does correctly show that single digit as the ad rate.

Thanks, I will mess around with it.

That did not work for me. In the listing itself, no matter what I did it would default to
Ebay's suggestion. I had to turn off Promoted Listings for each one I did, then go to my Active Listings and edit them individually from the list there.

@sunset-painter it was strange when I did it, you still have to delete the suggested rate from the box even though once you click in the box it seems like it's blank. Then type in the rate and even though it doesn't show the number as you're typing, click outside of the box once you've put in the number you want and it's there.

Here's a gif of what it looked like when I did it in Chrome, but I totally understand other browsers may be different and/or this may not work for others.
