Please help, my accounts got hacked and now I'm banned

I don't know how to use this, it's the first time. So please go easy on me. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. haven't used eBay in forever, I try to sign in just to find out someone has been in it doing suspicious activity, I don't know what, because the email doesn't specify. got an email to my account letting me know, I was very upset. I don't want to be banned from something I did not do. It's ridiculous how there is no other possible way to contact eBay. So annoying. Such rigged system. I'm very confused so here I am now making a eBay community post about it because I don't know who else to talk to, eBay doesn't have a contacting email or anything like that. They only have a number but no one answers, they should have an email. This is ridiculous. I just want my account back. What can I do? I'm afraid this account may get banned as well. Go easy on me. And please be understanding. I am not very smart. I needed to make a new account to make this community post. It wouldn't let me use my banned account. It wouldn't let me do anything, so I had no choice. Please do not ban or suspend this account. It's the only thing I have now. But I really want my old account back. I have a lot of stuff saved there and I don't know what the hacker is doing. I am scared and disappointed how eBay doesn't have a better contacting system. Someone is doing suspicious activity on my account and I don't know who it is.

·1 month agosame thing happening to me and Ebay does NOT help. They want my email and I cannot use it because the hacker changed my password for it and after 20 yrs of using that email I cannot -so ebay wanted other info. Guess what I have a NEW phone that is linked to the account yet they would n't honor it and they simply had me on the phone in India with kids who did not know how to respect me and get the information to fix it! I told them I could give them ALL the info aside from the email ! SS number, address, bank info linked even and they simply told me they needed to cancel my account! Ridiculous with weak customer service! Thousands given to ebay thru the years in seller fees and guess they now won't get another penny as I am selling on etsy and facebook now! Happy with that!

·2 years agoI am going to go out on a ledge and say you are leaving "something" out. If you haven't used the account in "forever" obviously you aren't THAT into Ebay. And also if you haven't used in "forever" nothing would be saved. Your solds, watch list and purchases would all be gone.

·2 years agoNot going to ask what the emergency is but, if you are looking for quick cash, not going to happen. After you get signed up and approved for Managed Pay, and when items sell, as a returning seller, can take up to 30 days to receive payout. (sometimes it can take longer)
You could also try sending a PM to; Facebook

OP2 years agoI've obviously already went there if I'm here. Why are choices so limited? I've changed my password and nothing happened. It only has one contact option which I already called and I'm getting no response. I cannot log into my account to do the other actions it's asking me to do. Every single contact option is unavailable. Always says unavailable.

·2 years agoAre you in the US? Did you request a call back using the chat assistant between 5AM and 9:30PM Pacific Time?
You cannot call directly, you have to request a call back.

·1 month agoEbay discounts and has sellers waste their time looping in circles trying to be heard and respected! It is ridiculous! I worked at Nordstrom for years and I know what REAL customer service is and they are failing!

The responders in this forum also can't help you or know anything about your account.
What we can tell you is this account you opened may also be banned because eBay doesn't allow users to open new accounts to circumvent their bans suspensions or restrictions. See Multiple account policy.
You also don't say how long exactly is " forever" since you used eBay. The reason I ask is because according to the User Agreement eBay reserves the right to close accounts that haven't been active in a substantial length of time.
