Please HELP! 80 straight listings removed for keywords, but there are zero errors in the listings.
Summary: sportsgraffs, an experienced eBay seller, expressed frustration over repeated removal of their auction listings due to alleged keyword issues, despite having no apparent violations. They have unsuccessfully tried various strategies and appealed many times, but the problem persists. redmodelt suggested checking for hidden hyperlinks, while eoma689485 advised avoiding certain practices like referencing other listings or using terms that might increase 'risk' scores. sportsgraffs is seeking guidance from the community to resolve the issue impacting their livelihood.
Hello everyone, my username is Sportsgraffs, and I've been selling on ebay for 23 years, roughly 13,000 feedback and have always been a power seller. About a month ago, all of my auctions started ending early due to keywords issues. I've spent nearly 100 hours on the phone with ebay customer service. I've A/B Tested listings every way imaginable, I've reduced my auction listings to basically the bare minimum to even find the sports cards I'm listing. All of my listings continue to be removed with about 24 hours left in the auctions. I've searched exact items like mine and they all seem to sell with way more words describing their items than mine, plus all the words I've used are in their auctions that have sold with no issues. Every human I've spoken to at ebay has said these lisitngs shouldn't be removed, and to just appeal them. Well, I've done that repeatedly, and even winning the appeals does nothing. The cards go live again, then they still get removed, even after winning an appeal. No one at ebay leadership can provide any reasons for this, and there's apparently no one I can speak to. Can anyone please help me!?! My livelihood, my business and my wife and daughters are being severly impacted by this. If anyone has a way for me to speak to someone who can help or if anyone knows of a way to prevent this, I'm all ears. I've done things the right way on this site for so long and made this company so much money in fees, yet it feels like no of that matters and no one at ebay cares to help. Fingers crossed someone in the community can help me. Thank you so much for your time reading this. --Matt

·1 month ago · EditedOnly looked at one of your listings - Jordan Card.
eBay's Search and Browse Manipulation Policy explicitly prohibits referencing other active listings or cross-promoting external items within a standalone description box.
eBay rules dictate that a single card listing's photos and description must only represent the exact item up for sale.
Avoid terms like "Ultra Rare" or a bunch of exclamation points - while not a violation in itself - it raises your "risk" score for removal.
Forgot to mention: The bots are programmed to scan active auctions nearing their end to catch last-minute violations. That's why they almost make it to the end.

·1 month agoDid you cut and paste the description from someplace? Perhaps there is a hyper link hidden somewhere in the text. Sorry I don't how to check but maybe someone else will help with that.

OP1 month agoI don't believe I copy and pasted from old listings, I'll make sure I don't do that moving forward. Thank you for the advice!
