Picture attachments stuck at 50%
Summary: Several participants, including quadcitypickers, are experiencing issues with photo attachments in eBay messages, which are getting stuck during upload on Windows 11 using Firefox. swag_depot and others have encountered similar problems with files not progressing past 0%. mam98031 provided a link to a technical forum for further assistance. bowtiebits contacted eBay support, who confirmed it's a known site issue being addressed, and advised to check back after 72 hours.
Anytime I try sending a photo through messages it stops at 50%.

路6 days agoPictures are now uploading! 馃榾 For me anyway, as of Tuesday evening, September 1st, 2026 @ 8:45 PM Central time. I will also add, that they are now uploading faster than they ever have before. It's like they have attached a Blink-Drive!

路1 week agoI took the weekend off, so this issue may go back even further than I know, but I also cannot upload photos in eBay messages. I first noticed it Monday morning, and I still can't upload Pic's in message yet this Tuesday evening.
I did get a chance today to contact eBay CS Chat this Tuesday afternoon, and I spent 45 minutes with them there, as I worked my way up to an eBay CS 'Specialist'.
This is what I have been told >
- "Thank you for providing me a time to check on this. I was able to see that there was a site issue that our sellers are unable to upload a photos to buyers via eBay messages, and our team is already working on this. To make sure that it will be fixed, I will also be informing our specialist team that your account was also affected by this bug. Please check it again in 72 hours, to see if it has been resolved"

路1 week ago 路 EditedSame here. I even tried reducing the filesizes from ~3MB to ~1MB with no change. As soon as I select the images, an EMPTY information bar appears (blue "i"). If I click SEND anyway, I get the red exclamation. I use Chrome on a Win11Prox64 desktop.
