'Pardon Our Interruption...' Bot Issues
Hi eBay Gang!
Like a few others on this forum, I too have been experiencing an inability to directly sign in to eBay all evening, due to its assumption I am a bot. Ironically, whilst jumping thru hoops, I was able to sign in to this forum, despite unusually, being unable to upvote and reply directly to those with similar issues.
In order to be able to sign in here, I had to refresh the security code page when stating, 'We ran into a problem...', and waited for the minute countdown to elapse before being able to refresh the page, and then go thru the hamburger recaptha that subsequently allowed for a security code to be sent via the phone.
For those who may still be unable to get to their purchase page, I found a workaround.
Right click username (top right hand corner) open it in a new tab. This will take you to your 'About' page.
From 'About' page, right click feedback 'View listings'.
From your feedback page you should be able to see your 'Sell - Watchlist - My eBay' drop down menu.

·4 months agoUK based too and still seeing this issue. The only workaround I've found is to visit ebay.com or ebay.ca (anything other than co.uk). Everything is in dollars and the time stamp is 8 hours behind but at least the website now believes I'm not a bot 🙂

OP4 months agoI've now been able to sign in as normal today (29.04 @06.23hrs UK), but the security code sign-in process is still a bit unpredictable. I hope everything has gone back to normal for you too. Time zone setbacks & currency conversions is a tall order just to get into one's account these days. 🙂

OP4 months agoAnd in a case you're all thinking I've now entered the Twilight Zone & gone Back To The Future in a Close Encounter of The eBay Kind', having initially written and coming with receipts that I posted my message [on Tuesday 28 April @ 01.55 a.m.] due to attempting to sign in several times all evening yesterday, only to see it time-stamped at '04-27-2026 05:55 PM', means it ain't over and we're still at war... Bot Wars! 😉
