OK – folks. Guy comes here for help. No need to start pointing out and criticizing negative feedback and responses to it. No need for snarky remarks. That’s just my two cents.

The replies are totally appropriate.
In 99% of cases, there's no reason to contact CS nor is there much CS can do in this case. Since we can often see where the "issue" lies by looking a posters' listings, feedback and/or history, we do check. It's a pretty safe assumption that the OP is hoping that customer service will remove the negative feedback.
Just because a poster asks for customer service doesn't mean that advice received here is bad or snarky. @flemz1 hasn't received snark nor bad info.
@flemz1
Assuming that your complaint is with what you perceive to be an unwarranted negative feedback, it's unlikely that CS can help you because the feedback is an honest and legitimate expression of the buyer's disappointment in the item and since it doesn't violate any ebay policies, ebay is unlikely to remove it.
In this case, the buyer was unhappy and although you state in the description "If you get these tapes and are not satisfied with any of them, please contact me and I will make it right for you," your listing doesn't offer a return policy and that may be why they didn't ask to return them.

Come on - “your response to the FB didn't make your cause any better, but, if you do not plan to sell here any more, guess that doesn't matter much” wasn’t appropriate. That kind of response just discourages people asking for help.

It was not only appropriate, but helpful not just to the user it was directed to, but also anyone else who later reads this thread.
Your response, on the other hand, is not helpful to anyone.

Reasonable minds can disagree. Personally, I don’t think it is nice or helpful to dig through and call out someone’s reply to negative feedback, considering it has absolutely nothing to do with the question posed.

I'm astonished that a poster who's authored 12Solutions to OPs' problems regularly criticizes a poster who has authored over 5000Solutions. OPs obviously differ with you about the value of this poster's Replies.
No need to continually criticize (AKA bully) one of the most helpful responders in the eBay Community. That's just my two cents.
EDITED TO ADD: When an OP appears to express concern about a feedback they've received ... showing that they care about their reputation as a buyer or seller ... I would think it's extremely helpful to point out to them when a Reply to the feedback does more harm than good to their reputation. [The feedback was removed before I could read it, so I can't comment on the actual content.]

sure, if this was about keeping score, I’d have a lot of solutions too. I never accepted the invitation to be a mentor. If I did, sure, I’d have a lot more solutions. That’s because the ask a mentor board has questions that usually only have one response. with only one response, that creates a huge number of solutions. Even if it wasn’t a fantastic response. Even if there weren’t any really insights in there. Just copy, paste, move on.
I don’t be grudge at anyone that amazing street cred the one gets from helpful’s and solutions. Some people really do care about that stuff. Me, not so much. truly, there are a lot of great contributors on these boards. I’m sure that plenty of them I would beat if I look at the metrics of helpful’s versus posts. it’s not really a contest. Is it?
As someone who has fought hard against these stats from the day they were instituted ... and who has chosen not to show their mentor status ... I happen to agree with the unimportance of statistics and mentor status on the Boards.
BUT ... I do think it's helpful to take a look at stats when a responder continually criticizes the Replies of another responder ... often telling them how unhelpful they're being to the OP. Then it occurs to me to wonder, 'What are the OPs actually saying about these two posters' Replies?' The answers are often revealing ... as they were today.
That said, what evidencedo you have that the poster earned their 'Solutions' on the Ask a Mentor Board? I've been seeing them regularly accumulate Solutions on threads long after the poster stopped being a mentor. That suggests you are rationalizing ... 'making up' ... the reasons for the vast differences in the stats of you and the member(s) you regularly criticize.
[BTW, the vast majority of threads on the Ask a Mentor Board do NOT have Solutions picked.]

Absolutely, I don’t have a huge number of fans. That’s OK – I’m not in it for the points. I’m not in it to post 20 things a day, copying and pasting, calling out people for a negative they gave five years ago, or a feedback reply that might be against policy. That’s for those that self proclaim that they are in it strictly for their own entertainment.
I didn’t even call anyone out. I just reminded folks that the OP’s question doesn’t require a deep dive into his life or his feedback or his feedback replies. For that, I get a bunch of the usual suspects coming to attack me. All good. But, remember that these usual suspects are the ones that tell me that I’m disrupting the boards. Yep, one comment, bunch of attacks. Blame it on me. Makes sense. I just ask people to be nice. That’s it.
Who died and made you king of the boards? If you really want to spend your day correcting others for how they say things, apply for a job as a khoros mod.

I’m not the arbiter of what is right and wrong. On occasion, I ask someone to be nice. Seems a lot less intrusive than ten of the usual suspects descending on me for making this request. So, I’m not allowed to ask people to be civil, but you and several others can tell me that I’m not allowed to make that request? Makes sense.
Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same issue. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in your original browser.
Try an alternative link to sign in to rule out an issue with a particular link:
This possibly involves the negative that the OP received.
OP: Did the buyer open an item not as described? If so, your only option is to send him a prepaid return label and to refund in full when you receive your item back. OR you can refund him in full without requiring a return.
Incidentally, your response to the FB didn't make your cause any better, but, if you do not plan to sell here any more, guess that doesn't matter much.

Using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Or specialized privacy software? Those can cause problems.
Make sure your browser is up-to-date and has JavaScript enabled (and not blocked) and that cookies are not being blocked:

Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same issue. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in your original browser.
Try an alternative link to sign in to rule out an issue with a particular link:
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Try temporarily disabling your ad blocker to see if that makes a difference.
If you are using a mobile browser, try changing to a different browser mode. Try a desktop browser or a mobile browser in desktop mode.
Or try using the eBay app.
