Once again accepted offer not showing
I talked about this before and was given a solution ..went to ebay reported …thought they fixed it…i should have known better….today another high dollar sale…buyer countered i accepted the counter no notification …still live ..no chaching…no accepted notification…. i go back in my email for the counter offer email …click on review …it tells me i have no offers however shows i sent the offer to the buyer not I accepted…so for some offers when i accept them instead of showing offer accepted its sending it back to the buyer as a counter called ebay back today just to be told that IT closed the initial ticket saying i didnt accept an offer i sent it n buyer paid….duh!! Thats the whole point…when i accept some offers they r countering for the amount not accepting the offer… cost me 300.00 in sales because twice buyer assumed i ignored their offer and moved on …now theres a known ticket opened a day after my initial one was closed…but then the rep goes on to say
theres not to be a solution until march 2024….um what the??? 90 days to fix n offer issue?? Anyway see photos below …email showing the counter….then screen shot that there are no offers….then under sent showing i sent the offer that i actually accepted ….so angry right now

·6 months agoHi, I have this very issue happening today. A customer and I were sending offers and a counter offer was sent from buyer which I accepted. It should have been in my sales or awaiting payment and it's nowhere except in my messages. Like you I am unable to reply because I already accepted their offer. Ebay response is to open an IT issue because the offer shows no way to trace it. Did you get an answer that makes sense? The customer is probably waiting on my response to their counter offer and I'm stuck.

Until the buyer pays, there is no transaction. The buyer must complete payment to purchase the item and end the listing; until that happens the item remains listed for anyone to purchase.

perhaps you can shed some light on this. Not sure if it is the same as we are seeing on other threads.

New way that eBay is doing it.
There are other posts explaining.
Now, until the buyer "pays" your listing stays open for other offers, or BIN.
Another run at eliminating non-payers.

OP2 years agono this is not the same issue...i was told that before and thought oh ok...that is not the issue .....the specific issue is that only when certain offers are accepted that instead of showing item as accepted it does nothing at all except send the offer back to the buyer as a counter offer i sent not accepted ....you cant invoice you cant do anything at all....ebay finally acknowledged after closing out my initial ticket that this is a known issue.....leaving the item available until its paid for is fine but thats not whats happening ...its sending accepted offers as counters and nowhere does it tell you that you accepted...again no chaching...nowhere in your history does it show you accepted the offer so no invoice and on and on...anyway its a known issue now...of course the low dollar items are going through like offers normally go through
