On listings the renamed "Ask a question" not working, formerly known as "contact seller"
On listing pages I see they renamed the "contact seller" button to "ask a question", that's fine, but when I click to ask a question it opens the pop up feedback window.

·6 months agoStrange; I used Google Chrome (normally Micro Edge) and 4 out of 5 various items showed 'contact seller'; but for instance, 1919 Lincoln Cent came back as 'ask question'.
My guess is: certain categories are either 'changing over all slowly' or has always been this way??

·6 months agoeBay may be testing something with certain accounts, or the changes may be rolling out in stages.
If you sign in to ebay.com using a private or incognito browser window and still see the old "contact seller" format, the former probably applies. If you see the new format, the latter likely is happening.

·6 months agoI used 3; Google Chrome not signed in; same computer Edge signed in; then another computer Edge not signed in and what I got was:
items listed in ebaymotors are showing the old
Items listed for coins are showing the new
Items random (paint/stickers) showing old.

OP6 months agoWell it seems everything went back to "contact seller" for now and it is working correctly again

OP6 months agoToday all the listing pages switched back to "Ask a question" again and everything is working correctly still.
