·1 week agoI did a deep dive on this in the selling section..... ebay nerfed messages... they will never notify us of offers ever again... no announcement, no notification.... just poof. It cost me as much as $10,000 before I found out the hard way back in may.. as of last week.. we won't get offer or counter offer notifications in our ebay messages...
This should infuriate all of us.. and they won't undo it unless we file enough complaints...
(my source of info comes from ebay MSO / Concierge... the highest levels of tech support you can get on the website)

·1 week agoHad a buyer message me last night asking me what the lowest I would take for an offer since I never responded to his offer. I never saw the offer, never appeared in messages, offers received area in seller hub or in email. You'd think that a corp that makes money off of sales would make it more easier to see when you have an offer.

OP1 week agoNow no offers from sellers, no offers from buyers.
Offers from sellers used to be in messages and that's how you know one was sent.
Now all the messages are for are ebay ads, promoting listings, and monthly reports.
I don't need messages for leave feedback, promote your ads or ebay events.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
No special page yet for "Offers" from a seller.
Keeps getting worse every day and ebay does nothing about it.

·1 week agoYeah they show up in my email but no longer in my inbox. Which is frustrating a buyer could send a offer and I wont know about it unless I go to my email or the Seller page for offers. Such a inconvenience. Why do they make these decisions.

·2 weeks agoThey might be going to Bids & offers. That is where I am now finding offers from sellers. The offers have not been going to my messages for about a week now. I found them by accident in Bids & offers.

OP1 week agoNo, bids and offers does not show offers sent by sellers.
So as a seller myself, just wasting time since no one can see them anyway.
Might as well just stop the best offers option.

OP1 week agoHad 2 today and wouldn't have known if I didn't click on the bell icon to see. They are nowhere to be found otherwise.
Another technical issue or deliberate?
I'm guessing deliberate since refusal to fix the issue is ongoing.

OP1 week agoYes. I have 2 accounts and buy and sell from both. What does that have to do with not getting messages or notifications?
It's ongoing and nothing is being done.
Not even any "announcements" that they have changed or are working on it.
Nothing. Just ignoring the problem.

·1 week agoBecause if you have a separate account for Selling and a separate account for buying, offers for both buyers and sellers would NOT appear on the same account. For the Selling account you would see buyer offers, on the Buying account you would see Seller offers.
How do you know they aren't working on it, if in fact it is an issue for many?
I haven't done this, but have you looked through the Technical board to see if others are having the same issue and potentially found a solution? Have YOU reported the problem to Ebay. If not, when you do, get the Ticket Number so you can contact them as needed to see what the progress is on the problem.
When you report the problem, it is important to note if you use the App or Web based access. The two are not the same for obvious reasons.
Ebay does NOT announce every issue that happens on the site, nor do they report progress on fixing it. You are assuming they are ignoring the issue, however it is within your power to find out.

·2 weeks agoI have not been receiving best offers in my eBay messages for several days too. I noticed two days ago that they are now in Bids & offers. Look there and see if you have offers there.

OP1 week agoOffers from sellers are nowhere. If I didn't click on the bell - upper right-hand corner of the screen I'd never know any were sent.
