Has anyone experienced difficulties with their eBay gift card being linked to an account they cannot access? I purchased a gift card through Capital One shopping rewards and intended to use it with my new eBay account. Unfortunately, it seems the card is now associated with an old account, which I cannot access due to previous security issues.
eBay insists that the card is tied to the old account, despite me never registering it there. Since I can't access this old account, I'm left unable to use the gift card I paid for.
