My store has international shipping program set up- Buyer in canada unable to purchase -
Buyer in canada trying to buy my item, they get a popup saying unfortunately seller does not ship to your location, which is not correct.. WHat is causing this. Calling ebay is a joke, they have absolutely no idea what to do.

·1 year agoThis has been an issue for at least 4 days now, customers contacting me asking why I do not ship to their location when I do

·1 year agoI'm in Canada and all your items I looked at show as being available to me with shipping to Canada showing, so I'm assuming your edits fixed it.

·1 year agoEIS will not allow the export of items which cannot legally to imported to the destination country. They decide and will decline items based on the category or other information they have. There is no appeal.

·1 year agoItem 177077927694 is for hair color which, due to chemicals / hazmat, is probably restricted from eIS. The listing is completely blocked from international shipping because eIS does not accept hazmat.
It has to ship Ground Advantage Package service - it cannot ship First Class Letter/Flat service.

·1 year agoWhen I pointed this out to the OP, he states they are actually sent regular first class mail and he can't be bothered to figure out why his listings say "media mail" which says something about the seller.

OP1 year agoi have bulk edited my listings, the shipping is now correct..

·1 year agoYou have items shipping for Media Mail that are not suppose to be shipped Media Mail...

·1 year agoYep. To offer more info for the original poster - Video games, controllers, etc - none of that is Media Mail eligible.

OP1 year agoHere is the error the buyer is gettting.. Ebay has no idea what to do.

·1 year agoHave no idea what the problem is with that shipping information, but the one item of yours that sold, a cap, listed that it will be shipped via "media mail".
Several other caps you have listed state "media mail".

OP1 year agoThey all ship regular first class mail, the shipping policy in my store never got changed, and i dont feel like trying to figure it out.

·1 year agoThere's no such thing as first class mail for packages anymore. It was changed to Ground Advantage. But your listings are not correct, all the ones I looked at say free shipping by Media Mail.
As for the one that won't ship to Canada, all the listings I checked had eBay International Shipping to Canada. Some items are not eligible for eIS, as @wastingtime101 suggested, that is probably the problem.
FYI, you should remove that screenshot, because you have published another user's name and address, which is against the rules, and a violation of their privacy.

·1 year agoSo you’re going to continue to advertise that you ship Media Mail because you don’t feel like trying to figure it out?
You are one of the reasons USPS increases the costs of Media Mail because sellers like you could care less and continue to list and ship erroneously.
I suggest you figure it out.

OP1 year agoThe only time i have ever shipped media mail was for things that can go media mail.. This is irrelevent, and not the reason i came here.. I fixed my shipping on my items.. i would like to know why buyers are unable to purchase, when they should be able to.

·1 year ago@wastingtime101already answered this:
That listing is not eligible for eIS shipping, so it's not available internationally.
I do see that you have changed it to USPS Ground Advantage for domestic shipping to the USA, so that is fine now.

·1 year agoIt may not have been the reason you came here but it is NOT irrelevant. Shipping is VERY relevant and can result in claims against you as a seller.
I'm glad you got it sorted now though.

·1 year agoThis reply wasn't showing earlier - weird. But yep, another good point.
Perhaps the seller will find this link handy as it has a chart of media mail eligibility:
