My feedback page is messed up, it's only showing entries that are 6 months old or older. It also shows that I've left no feedback for buyers.

·2 years agoI had recently some of the BEST reviews in 25 years and they all disappeared including the 2 I replied to. I am missing thousands AGAIN. I lost over 200,000 around 2001 or 2002 (it's been a while) and never got those back, either.

·2 years agoIf YOU click on YOUR feedback when you are signed in; it shows out of order as stated...but!
When a customer goes to your item, clicks your feedback, it is in the correct order.

·2 years agoOops. never mind the above. After I clicked on the most recent feedback to proceed to that transaction to leave feedback and then returned to the feedback profile, it had re-reverted to the erroneous view.

·2 years agoYes, mine too. It would be nice if the tested their "improvements" before applying them.
They did this a while back with my Orders screen. I had to go back and re-hide about two year's worth of purchases.

You are referring to the sort order of feedback, that's a different matter. I've reported accounts that cannot see feedbacks, as this is a confirmed technical issue and something different to the link above.
@devon@ebay @kyle@ebay @elizabeth@ebay - can you confirm if removing "feedback left for others" in whatever we would call this new feedback experience is an intentional change or a technical issue please?

·2 years agoI'm actually seeing "feedback left for others" restored in the "new" design now while still retaining the "most relevant" sort order for feedback received, so I would guess either it was an unintentional technical issue or they've reversed course on at least that part of it.

·2 years agoUK reps are always late to the party and often wrong. To get faster answers I usually come here and see them posted by the reps on this forum.
And I sometimes paste a quote from a rep on this forum onto the UK forum and some days later a UK rep will repeat the same.
When the bugs are the same I wish they would sync the explanations better.
They won't even let us have a pinned ongoing technical issues page like you have here.

·2 years agoThanks @elizabeth@ebay appreciate that it's been "resolved" in the sense that "feedback left for others" is now visible again, but that still doesn't answer the question as to whether it was a technical issue or intentional change/test that has been reverted.

·2 years agoIf you're collecting feedback on feedback @elizabeth@ebay , here's my 2 cents:
I check FB a couple times a week with a quick glance to make sure there aren't buyer issues I need to address. For me it's a form of customer service management. Some buyers communicate through FB instead of messages which is annoying.
With the way things are currently, it's not possible to sort newest to oldest. With the current sort, even filtering by past month, I can't locate FB left the past couple days from buyers. This makes it difficult to help customers, especially those that may express an issue within a pos FB.
If eBay wants to use this "best match" style of sorting and filtering, they need to offer a way for sellers to sort newest to oldest that shows all FB, not just select FB. With this change eBay has removed a customer service tool from sellers.

This just happened today.
It now shows feedback from 6 months ago at the top, but then the latest feedbacks left by my Buyers are invisible, or not showing up on the pages.
Wonder what they're doing?
This is not good.

·2 years agoIt's a bit disastrous looking and there is NOTHING in the announcements. I actually left fb as a buyer today for someone that bought from me. Trying to leave follow up fb was a little taxing.

·2 years agoI think eBay is changing it to match the way the app displays them (why?). The webpage currently shows only 'Most Relevant.' In the app, you have to change the filter to 'Most Recent' to see the current feedback. I hope they will add a filtration option to the website.

·2 years agoCompare your first page now and then filter the feedback by selecting 1 month on right side of the page. Arguable it looks better now and its giving greater picture about you as a seller.

·2 years agoYeah, looking for others feedback, it looks like most positive/ informative written feedback is on first page.
Then you can filter it as customer with new "Period" drop down menu on right side.

·2 years agoSo ebay feels only one of the feedback ratings I've received over the past 6 months /year deserves to be shown above the break? Buyers that care to look, may not know all the workarounds to see I have more recent experience than that. To me at a glance, I would think that seller isn't selling much (not far from the truth, but not as bad as it looks either).

·2 years agoFor me at glance your feedback looks very good and from the number of feedback its clear you are experienced seller. I think customer value more quality feedback than when it was left. Go try to compare your current first feedback page and then filter with "1 month", to me as customer, now the first page has more value because its giving me a lot of info about the seller without need to dig through the hundreds of feedbacks.

·2 years agoThere is still newer feedback missing. When I choose one month from the pull-down menu on the right-hand side some of the more recent feedback is still not there. And I'd like to know where the Feedback Left for Others has gone. I use that feedback a lot when I get offers from potential buyers. I will check their feedback left for others and if they never leave feedback why should I give them a deal? Additionally, if they have left a plethora of negative feedback for other sellers I will decline their offer because I don't want to deal with someone who has a habit of leaving negative feedback.

·2 years agoI dont think so its an issue or a glitch.
To me this looks kike they are rearranging the feedback received so on the first page is "most informative" feedback.
Like more longer feedback or good feedback on pricier items is up front.
That's why the mixture.
If that's true as I think, then I WELCOME this change, as now my first page feedback look really nice and very informative for a protentional new buyer.
Looks like the feedback was sorted by AI what it thought best for the front page.
I imagine this being updated after some time period or some number of new feedback received.
Anyway, looks good to me.
For not being able to leave a feedback on orders, I know they wanted to get rid of this functionality for some time, so maybe now they are finally doing it. Leaving feedback for order was obsolete in my opinion as we were able to leave only positive feedback and it had no value at all.

·2 years agoSame thing is happening to me 😖 If they're going to roll out changes that will break things we need to function as sellers wouldn't it be nice if they let us know when things are going to be wonky? It's like having your mechanic change the windshield wipers while you're trying to drive in the rain.

·2 years ago@jkramer2 interestingly, it looks like whatever eBay is testing here is different depending on how you navigate to the feedback (including different URLs).
For example if i just click on your feedback number under your name here in the community, it takes me to this page which displays they way you are describing - defaulted to 6 months or older and showing no feedback left for buyers.

However, if I go to your store and navigate to "see all feedback" from there or go to one of your items, scroll down to the feedback module on the View Item Page and "see all feedback" from there, both of those take me to this link which still shows your most recent feedback and feedback you've left for others.

·2 years agoYep, seems like it all depends on which route you take to the feedback page. Seems eBay is preparing to delete the old, traditional route in favor of the new one that takes extra clicks to get there.

OP2 years agoYeah, I noticed this as well regarding access through "see all feedback". I have no problem with eBay making changes and hopefully improvements to various functionalities, but they always do it without any notification of temporary disruption. Their communication to their customers is abysmal.

When I look at my feedback received it's all green now and no sign of the recent grey dot.
To see that I have to directly click on it in the ratings box.
More fiddling while eBay burns.

All of my feedback left for buyers is gone, and this is what that looks like. It states that I have not left any but references 82 or more blank pages. Apparently, I have not left any comments. And yes, the feedback left by buyers is a hot mess. 😞

·2 years agoI noticed for the past month or more I have "out of order" feedback or old feedback showing first. I have noticed some of my "glowing" feedback appearing at the top on mobile/app view.
I think that's kinda a great idea as a seller. I'd like my glowing feedbacks at the top and just ditch the irrelevant menial feedbacks? Maybe AI at work here?
"Good", "great", "ok", "thanks", "ðŸ‘", i don't mind those getting pushed out of the way for glowing paragraph-long FBs.

·2 years agoThe AI is not doing a great job. It keeps pushing to the top a pos FB I have that, while it does express comments the buyer is generally happy, also criticizes the item they purchased for something clearly depicted in listing photos and description (and is not a flaw or defect in any way, just not what the buyer wanted).

I've pondered the idea of EBay letting sellers pick and choose their own FBs to "pin" to the top as opposed to AI doing it for you, but I believe the AI tool would allow constant refreshing and variety... unless the tool allowed the seller to pick a batch (15-20) and it rotated those that it showed to maintain some variety. Hah .. who knows.
Maybe they'll improve the AI? maybe it will be another half-baked project/idea

·2 years agoI have the same issue. Feedback is displaying out of order. The recent comments are still there but if you sort to 12mo or 6 mo it will show the feedbacks out of order. If you scroll down the page you can see different ages on the FB. If you sort to 30 days or click the feedback number for 30 days it displays normally.
I called customer service the rep was able to duplicate the issue and get it reported.

·2 years agoI'm seeing exactly what others have stated. The not showing any of the feedback I have left for the last 20 years is ....to say the least...NOT what I am paying eBay to promote my business !
Get with the program eBay...put it back the way it was and keep your hands off !

·2 years agoTonight, I went to make sure I'd left all necessary feedback entries for my October purchases. My account shows that I haven't left any feedback comments ever. Every feedback I've ever left about any transaction has disappeared. I wonder if ebay knows their system is haunted for Halloween!

·2 years agoIt looks like eBay is making changes to the feedback page. There are now drop-down options to show various types of feedback.
You can still see recent month's feedback received by clicking on the numbers in the table.
Feedback left for others appears blank at the moment, though.
Most likely the changes are not done yet.
