Messeging issue
Hi. I can't contact seller for days. They asked me to send them my address to initiate a return, but when I send a message to seler I get error messsage: https://www.ebay.com/cnt/ViewMessage/ajax/send_message 500 (Internal Server Error). Which means eBay’s system is unable to process the request on their side. Is being fixed? Any timelines?

If you want to return an item that's not as described, you don't need to contact the seller.
Just open an item not as described case with eBay. Have you done that?
Have you read the eBay Money Back Guarantee? Now would be a good time to do that.

·8 months agoSomething not quite right here. You're the buyer. The seller evidently sent you an item you wish to return. Shouldn't the seller still have the address to which he sent your item in the first place?

You don't need to contact the seller. Find the item in your Purchase History and use the 'More actions' menu to open a Return request. Your seller will either send you a return shipping label or issue a refund without requiring a return. If you have neither after 3 days, go to the case on Day 4 and escalate it to eBay.

·8 months agoYour question is somewhat puzzling. If you are in a transaction with a seller, that seller has your shipping address.
If you are the seller and in a transaction with a buyer, that buyer has your address.
Care to explain further?

OP8 months agoI'm buyer. I contacted seller with the issue. They asked me my adress for return. I came back to reply my address after few days and can't not reply anymore bacuase of that error.
