Believe it or not it was caused by using the abbreviation for assembly. (Assy)
Took out the abbreviation and spelled it out, fixed.
FYI This is what comes back from googling the abbreviation.
"Assy" is an abbreviation for "assembly", commonly used in engineering and manufacturing contexts. It refers to a group of parts or components that are joined together to form a larger unit. In the context of automobiles, an "assy" might be a suspension component or a complete engine assembly. It can also refer to a complete assembly of electronic components, such as a circuit board.
Will someone teach / program the machine for English subtleties in context. Or at least add it to the dictionary.
Also, highlighting the offending words found during the scan would be helpful.

·1 year agoI was bleeped after I posted something about freight forwarders using the plural form of the abbreviation. So now, in order to refer to FF's, one needs to use poor grammar and post it (incorrectly) in the possessive form.

·1 year agoeBay automatically blocks lots of words that can be used inappropriately in feedback, even if the same words can be used in other contexts without being offensive. This prevents a lot of obnoxious feedback comments from being left, even if it also prevents a few innocent comments or requires some comments to be reworded.
eBay is unlikely to change this just because you ask.
Also, highlighting the offending words found during the scan would be helpful.
That would be helpful, but eBay will probably not do that either.

·1 year agoThey definitely won't. They don't want to tell people how to get around the censors in case someone was using the abbreviation assy to tell someone they were being assy or acting like an ass. 😂
I'm actually surprised that one is flagged in messages. Do you guys remember several years back eBay had a banner on the home page that said something about "kick ass deals" and someone posted about it here on Community asking why that's allowed in marketing banners if we can't say it on this forum and eBay replied to the post and said uh, yeah you can say ass on this forum. As long as you're not using the term to be disrespectful to another poster by calling them an ass.

But where would it end? "This pen is wonderful" is another phrase that sets eBay off. So we'd have to teach grammar, too. 🙄
