Men's Pants Shorts Swim Trunks Are NOT All Even Sizes!
Summary: paylessfashion expresses frustration with eBay's sizing policy for men's clothing, highlighting that sizes can be odd numbers, such as 35, which are common but are reportedly being removed from listings as policy violations. The user questions the logic behind this change and the difficulty it poses for both sellers and buyers in accurately listing and finding items by their actual sizes.
This may come as a surprise, but men's Pants, Shorts, Swim Trunks, etc., are not all even number sizes. Believe it or not, they also come in odd number sizes too, and have since the beginning of eBay. So, why would you now be removing listings for "Size Policy Violations" when we have simply placed the CORRECT size in our listings. Why, with your recent change, did YOU remove all of the odd size numbers? What are we supposed to do? As an example, if I have a pair of shorts listed that are Size 35, which is a VERY COMMON size, do I say 35 in the title and then select 34 or 36 in the item requirements section? Does that make any sense whatsoever to anyone EXCEPT eBay? So, for all the customers in the world searching for Size 35 to purchase, is eBay now requiring them click on EVERY size 34 or 36 listing to try to read the size tags to see if they're actually size 35? All because because eBay doesn't allow the seller to list the actual size because it's a size policy violation that makes no sense? Where does the insanity stop with eBay? I find it hard to believe no one working this latest change had no clue sizes also come in odd numbers. Mind blowing. @ebay.com
