MC011 , After submitting all the documents and invoices I have
'm an eBay seller and my account was under review. I was asked for proof of address and invoices. I compiled all the required documents with great difficulty, as I don't think you usually have a receipt from the store or even a simple handwritten invoice when you buy a used car part. I believe eBay accepts invoices, but they prevented me from selling any car parts, even though I was a top-rated seller in this field. The reasons given are related to security, which I don't understand. How can this be when I haven't received a single negative review on my account? Where is the risk to the consumer? Is there any way to contact eBay's risk management team? Please advise.

·4 months agoeBay has become more proactive when it comes to protecting buyers (and themselves) in recent years. It does not mean you have done anything wrong. I see you are selling BMW parts, which can be high end and perhaps you sold something that was on highest end, outside of your normal sales. You are also located in Jordan, and there may be other factors at play. What I can tell you is that your feedback rating has absolutely nothing to do with eBay's security measures.
eBay does not provide exact reasons beyond it is related to security. Be thankful they even told you that much. If they told sellers the exact reasons they take certain security steps, it would allow sellers to sidestep their account restrictions. You are not going to be able to find out what triggered this restriction.
There is no eBay risk management team. Hopefully, at worse, you won't be able to sell those high end car parts and you will still be able to sell other things. What I am saying is be thankful this is not a full account ban, and hopefully it does not become one.

Is it you cant list and sell car parts on eBay .com the US site?
Can you sell on your home site since you are in Jordan, or just no car parts?
Reviews do not matter.
eBay has decided that as a seller of car parts to the US you are a risk.
There is no "risk management team" for you to contact.

·4 months agoSelling car parts from Jordan on eBay isn’t allowed because they fall under a category that’s ineligible for international sales.
To make a sale, you’d either need to change the category (if possible) or use an international site where car parts are permitted.
