Mattress Protectors are incorrectly charged a Mattress Recycling Fee

The California Mattress recycling fee is supposed to be for "Mattress, box spring, foundation, and base".

As such, a mattress PROTECTOR is none of those, as it is basically a sheet, and should NOT have that fee.
Is this a bug? TIA

@kaltimus what category is the mattress protector you are looking at listed in? what is the zip code where you are seeing the recycling fee being added?

eBay does sometimes apply these extra fees incorrectly but it can also depend on the category the seller listed the item in.

The category is exactly as I listed above. It is listed as a â€œmattress protectorâ€, which should not have the fee in a California zip code. (91776)
