login and logout issues - cant switch to work in our multiple ebay accounts

·4 months agoi get the same message every time i try to log out, got spooked into thinking i got hacked so i changed my password for nothing.

With the scrambled message I googled it, said I had to do a long list of things, I did them, no change, then after half a day discovered ebay is having technical issues they finally acknowledged in announcements. In other words, I did not need to do anything. Just don’t do anything until ebay resolves its issues. Nothing I could do would change anything as it’s ebay who is having the issues.
On top of these issues, we have been experiencing terrible results in sales in both our accounts over the last 45 days. Both our ebay accounts have been selling for over 20 years, and we’ve never seen such terrible sales results. We read a lot of other long time sellers also stating the same. Do not understand how ebay stock is not affected, but as their stock is based largely on revenues, since they started all these live auctions, it put a damper on everyone else’s sales. But apparently live this gushing wave of live auction sellers, the live auctions revenues make up for the lost revenues of all us long time sellers who are not doing live auctions are experiencing. Sad. Frustrating.

Likely the issue is related to the sitewide issues that others are experiencing for the last two days.

If you have more than one eBay account, rather than signing out and signing back in to a different account, keep each account signed in in a different browser (or a private or incognito browser window or the eBay app).
