Listing Nightmare: Press "B" for BOLD - Watch Your Listing Collapse into a Paragraph. WHY?????
Why would Ebay want to sabotage my listing?
For years I have used my own format without a problem.
I usually write it up CENTERED
Then I BOLD and Select the FONT
Now when I hit "B" it collapses all of my content into a paragraph.
I have to rework it. Why would you do this to me?
Your Ai listings may be great. I am describing MY item. I don't want AI helping me.
Has anyone had this problem and how do I get around the sabotage?
Or is it easier to just move to another selling site?

·1 year agoThis happened to me last night also. I haven't found a work-around. I spent a long time trying to uncollapse the paragraph, and ended up with all my text in bold.

·1 year agoI'm sure you know that Ebay did not single you out. I don't know why that changed for you and I'm sorry it is causing you to change up how you write your descriptions.
I can share with you what I do. I use Templates. I set one up for every category or type of item I sell. In my Template I fill out all the ISBs [item specific boxes] I can that are rather universal on my stuff and I set up new ISBs for stuff that I will fill out for most of my listings.
My first section is for the Description of what I'm selling. The next is I have my TOS [terms of sale] that remain the same on all my listings.
Then I set up my return policy, handling time and everything else I can. Then I save it.
To do this the first time can take a little bit of time. But then when I go to create new listings, they are easy and fast to do.
Just something to consider.
