Purchased item in May and seller created USPS shipping label but did not ship the item. Contacted the shipper numerous times to resolve and no response. Cancelled the item and received a refund from ebay. Thought was a done deal went about my business. August 2026 received notice that the item was to be delivered. Apparently shipper decided to use the label to ship something else to someone else in another town and USPS and EBAY both send me notice that a package was on the way to me. I track the item and... The package label which was created in Florida is turned in in Indiana and the package starts moving. I attempt to contact the seller and send them a message That I did not want the item and would refuse it if it arrives to me. No response from the seller. I try to contact EBAY and tell them that I did not reorder the item nor did I want it. Well long story short. It is almost impossible at least for me to speak to an individual and get bye some EBAY AI whatever. Now the item is delivered to someone else in another town and on my purchases it says Item delivered as if I received the item which I DID NOT. I contacted the post master in the town the package was delivered to and they said my name was removed from the label and someone else's name was put there. The item I originally purchased weighed over 15 lbs and the postmaster said the package received weighed 8 ounces I want to get this error expunged from My EBAY purchase history so that I am not charged for this item that I never received . The problem is I cant speak to a human being because there is not that option offered anywhere that I can find. This has caused me much anxiety please advise

·1 month agoYou say you contacted the "shipper" many times. I assume you mean the Seller.
Buyers can NOT Cancel an item, they can request the seller cancels the transaction, but a buyer can not actually process the cancellation. So were you finally successful in getting your Seller to respond. Also sellers can't Cancel a transaction once it has been shipped. So if your seller was able to cancel the transaction, it actually did not ship.
If you were already refunded, then what is the issue? Yes you can talk with someone at Ebay. You may not know how to do it, but it is possible and it isn't that hard to do.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365.

·1 month ago@primevalhorseman Stop worrying. Your seller did not ship anything to anybody. USPS recycled the tracking number, hence why it 'suddenly' appeared in Indiana and started moving. It is not uncommon for tracking numbers to be used again. Normally it is many, many months later. In this case since your seller never shipped anything, it went back into the system and was reused sooner. eBay will still track it as if it is tied to your old order.
Take a chill pill as they say. You're fine.
@shire123 No scam going on here. Nothing to report.

·1 month agoAs men shift shop said. Don't worry you will not be recharged. You are in the clear.
About the only thing you might be able to do is,report the seller to eBay as,they appear to be scamming someone.
kensgiftshop
·1 month agoAs long as you already have your refund, I wouldn't worry about it.
They can't recharge you for the item.
