Issue with Sort by Menu Loading Slowly?
Hi. This has been happening to me for a long time but I'm so tired of it. When I open a new page or I'm doing research on an item and constantly sort lowest to highest or ended recently I can't quickly click the sort by list. I have to wait for the page to load for a minimum of around 5 seconds before I can click the sort by list, any sooner and it just won't respond. I noticed this doesn't happen with internet explorer, only on Google Chrome. Anything I can try to fix this. At some point a while back it never did this. It wouldn't be too bad if I wasn't constantly researching items. It ends up adding up and it's really delaying my speed. I've cleared history, cache, etc. Any ideas?

OP2 years agoYes, I'm using adblock plus and it actually worked as soon as I turned it off. Amazing. Thanks so much for the info. Wish I had asked a lot sooner but glad I finally have an answer.

It appears that a change -- either on eBay's end or on the ad blocker's end, it is not clear which -- has caused issues with those specific filters slowing down search results on eBay.

·2 years agoTry disabling your ad blocker and see if that speeds things up for you.
If that helps, re-enable your ad blocker but disable just the "Anti-Circumvention filters" (Ad Block) or ABP Filters (Ad Block Plus).
