I keep seeing messages from buyers after I already answered and sold the item!

On the Overview page, I keep seeing messages from buyers that I already answered (sometimes days earlier) and even after I sold the item. This only happens on the desktop computer, not the mobile app.

Make sure the question and your answer are deleted from your inbox and/or sent folders.

You can mark the questions as answered and they will stop appearing. This is a bug that I've noticed as well, I'll get a question about an item I'm selling, and even after answering it, ebay lists it as an "Item with questions". I have to manually remind ebay that I've already answered the question. Not sure why it would do that AFTER the item sold, but that ought to be a working solution for you.
