I have to clear cache before ebay home page loads
This problem just started today. On my desktop I can go to https://ebay.com but if I close the browser and go back, I have to clear my cache or it just sits there with a white page loading forever. I can go to "my ebay" through a bookmarked link anytime I want, but not the home page. If I clear the cache and I can get here, but just 1 time. Anyone else have this issue or have any idea what's going on? I have used the same link for YEARS and never had a problem. Help? Another question that might be related to this issue....does ebay utilize any part of microsoft windows store? Is it somehow linked to ebay in any way...any way at all ?

Any difference if you use another browser?

OP3 years agoFireFox and current. No other browser on my machine. The reason I asked about the microsoft windows store is because I removed that from my system just before I couldn't get to ebay. So I suspect ebay's front page is tied to that somehow.

·3 years agoCan you reach eBay using a private browser window in Firefox?
If so, that indicates the problem is with your cache, cookies, settings, profile or history. Add-ons might be included if you have not disabled add-ons in your private window.
It might be worth installing a different browser to see if that works better.
