I can't submit or complete the required driver's license ID verification.
Hello,
I'm having issues with my required ID verification process. I have an old buyer account and I just started selling with it. After my first successful sale, I got a notification in my seller dashboard about a required verification. It says I have to enter the ID of my local driver's license or passport. I don't have a passport so I entered my current valid Hungarian driver's license ID but for some reason, I can't submit the data. If I click on the submit button nothing happens, the page just reloads with the same fields. If I manually go back and click on the verification link again it says ebay is checking my submitted data. But after a day or two I see the same window again where I can enter the ID of my driver's license. Something is wrong here I think. The system is not accepting my driver's license, no matter what I do. Plus I think there should be an upload section where I could attach the photo of my driver's license but I'm not seeing that either.
I tried with two different browsers as well.
How can I resolve this issue?

If your account is registered here on ebay.com, and you use social media, then contact the eBay support teams here for help getting this to work.
Only use the Private DM or PM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address, the email attached to your account, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.

Let us know if they can sort it out or not.
Did you already set up your required Managed Payments banking and funding accounts for selling & receiving payments?
szepesif
OP2 years agoYes, I have already added my bank/credit card details for selling and receiving payments.
My account is an ebay.com account and I've been using it to purchase in the last few years. I wanted to get started selling some of my items, but it seems I won't be able to receive payments at all until I complete this verification. However, the system is not allowing me to upload/complete the ID verification for some reason.
