I CANT FINALIZE A BID
I’m not sure if the cause of this is because I use a very old iPhone (8) or if other people have experienced this but for some strange reason when bidding and after I type down the amount no bidding icon appears to finalize the bid. I have tried refreshing and logging off and on my eBay account but still no luck , any recommendations?

·3 weeks agoAny difference if you try another browser? Or a different screen magnification setting?
Try another device to rule out a device issue, if you can.

·3 weeks agoCurrent eBay app for iPhones requires iOS 18.0 or higher. Last update to iOS update or iPhone was 16.7. Due to hardware limitations, the iPhone 8 cannot be updated to iOS 17 or any later iOS versions.
All that to say your issue is likely caused by the fact that your iPhone is old.
Time for a new iPhone?

·3 weeks agoSo, what exactly are you using to access eBay on your iPhone 8? Are you using Safari? Or are you Chrome? Or are using FireFox? Have you tried switching browsers to see if that fixes the problem?
The only other thing that comes to mind is sometimes it's a matter of using cell service instead of WiFi.
