i am unable to report an item not received because the purchase is subsumed under a previous purchase from a different vendor, which was closed & refunded due to non-shipment. when i click "Contact seller" i am referred to the original seller, not the one who tried to fulfill the present order. the "present order" does not have its own order number, but is subsumed under order # 03-14695-33752. all attempts to contact eBay regarding this are rebuffed, because the order is marked as closed. i can find no way to contact the current seller, and no way to contact eBay directly.
not even sure what to do next...

OP3 weeks agothanks to everyone who's attempted to address this. i've already spent way more than $15.88 trying to work through this. the issue is closed as far as i'm concerned.

·3 weeks agoSorry but you may have lost us on this one. If you buy something from seller A it does not combine or show as a purchase from seller B. Not how it works on eBay, they would be separate things.
That order number tells us nothing, we cannot see what you have bought. These are user boards, other buyers and sellers, not eBay employees.
Did you perhaps order as a guest on the order in question? If so, it would not show up in your purchase history and would need to follow the information sent in the email and be logged out of your account to view it.
If you need to contact eBay, you would do so by opening the Help/Contact drop down and either use the AI or request a call back there isn't a number to call.

OP3 weeks ago · Editedhere is a screenshot of my order, revealed by clicking the "View order details" button in my email from eBay announcing the item's delivery. note the two different sellers, outlined in red. note also that i never received a new purchase confirmation email when i made the second purchase. after receiving my notice of refund for the first purchase, and then purchasing the item from the second vendor, i received an email message marked "DELIVERY UPDATE", containing the original order # and, incorrectly, the name of the first vendor.

·3 weeks agoThe sellers username is the sold by person, the store name is the at the bottom which does not have to be the same. Both item listing numbers shown are the same as are all the other dates and numbers. So your photo shown only one item bought and shipped.

·3 weeks agoThere is no such thing as 'subsumed'. A purchase is made by a buyer to a particular seller. Done. You'll have to explain in much more detail.

OP3 weeks ago · Editedplease see order # 03-14695-33752. there is an initial purchase from seller 1 which was not fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time. this order was successfully cancelled and refunded. right underneath that purchase is another purchase of the same item from a different vendor. this is all under order # 03-14695-33752. the second purchase was fulfilled, but according to USPS tracking, it was sent to an address in a different state. (i'm in maine; the item went to new york.)
clicking "contact seller" refers me to the original seller. in this order, the second seller's name/handle ("STELLAR DEALS INC") is not a live link. i've tried various ways to search for the seller but have come up empty.
and i stand by "subsumed". whether that's correct eBay terminology or not, i believe it is an accurate description of what's happened here.

·3 weeks ago · EditedThat receipt looks like the order was cancelled after it had already shipped and the Tracking Number says it was delivered on August 19th. If you order another one after being refunded maybe since you received the one that was already cancelled you order is considered complete?
STELLAR DEALS INC is the name they use on the shipping label. They probably have a local store and that is the name they use. Doesn't mean they are using that name for eBay sales. They are using oriongadgets as their eBay User Id. Same like your eBay User Id is senorton0 but this is not likely that is the name you use to receive mail.
You only show one eBay item number:175703391181 https://www.ebay.com/itm/175703391181 and that is why when you click on Contact Seller you are taken to oriongadgets.
The second showing of the item is only offering if you wish to Buy Again. It is not a receipt for one already purchased.
You can always call your Financial Institution and ask for receipts for the two transactions you are inquiring about. With the receipts you may be able to determine what you are searching for.
