Help
Summary: wiklem0 is experiencing issues with a purchase of a Gskill Ripjaw RAM kit. The delivered item does not match the advertised specifications, specifically mentioning a CL10 latency, which was not clearly stated in the product listing. wiklem0 attempted to initiate a return but encountered problems with the mailing process and the seller's communication. mam98031 suggested resolving the issue through the seller, emphasizing eBay's claims process, while soh.maryl advised using eBay's return system directly to handle the discrepancy. The discussion focuses on using proper channels for resolving such disputes.
Please excuse my omiting pleasantries im at wits end. Also excuse text formatting, this form doesn't seem to like me.
I ordered a gskill ripjaw 2x8gb ddr3 @1600mhz kit, the item received has cl10 latency, a specification that is not standard, subpar, and also (I suspect on purpose) not listed on the product page, blurred on the images on the page. Soon as I opened the box I noticed and immediately started return procedure. I only received an address, so I printed it out, stuck it on the box, took it to the post office, got declined because they need a barcode. Back home I found my way to the "email us for help" form, filled it in and checked the "send a copy to my email" box and pressed send and received no email, nor any kind of notice in my account. Tried again the next day, and then again. Help.

·5 days agoThis is not a Technical issue, it is an issue you have directly with the seller of the item you purchased. If you want to return the item for a refund, then file a claim for that.
You can go to this link. Locate the purchase and just follow the instructions on your screen. Don't assume anything, look at your screens closely and answer all appropriate fields to file the proper claim. Your seller will respond to the claim.

OP5 days agoIt is a technical issue though. It is several issues including one with the seller witholding information and one technical issue of ebay's email form not doing what it's supposed to do, forcing me to find different ways to get my message across.
Also, don't speak for others please. It is up to the seller to decide wether to respond, not your call.

·5 days agoYour issue is with the Seller.
WHAT? I did NOT tell you NOT to speak to others. IDK where you got that from. What I actually said was you need to deal directly with your Seller, which is true. You absolutely do not have to believe me and you can ignore the information I've provided you. That is completely up to you. I was just trying to help you get your money back.
Do whatever you feel is best for you.

·5 days agoIf I am reading your message correctly, you received an item that is not as described. You are well protected by eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers. Find the item in your Purchase History. Click on it. Click on "want to return". Use "not as described as your reason". Follow the prompts. This is the only way to handle a situation like this. There is nothing
"technical" about it.
