I see it on mine too. I doubt it's a glitch but rather a work in progress. They are probably about to enable 40 photos and so far have only changed the info line.
Even with as 'nonsensical' as glitches can be, and as high as 40 photos seems, it's too close to reasonable to just be an accidental, random 2-digit transposition.

40 pictures is excessive. There is a such thing as buyer overload. Less is more. I have a few things that are 20+ photos and I honestly don't like it. Under most circumstances you should be able to tell the story of your item with 10-12 images and only then if there are flaws. If there are so many flaws you need 30-40 images, then I'd argue that you don't need to be selling that item. You need to trash it.

·4 months agoThe only thing I can think of that being useful for is for item lots where a seller would want to show a photo of each item included in the lot.
