Gee you think something happened on Jan. 13th?
Some say that nothing happened when they changed the rules on Promoted Listing, that sales stayed the same or got better.
I am not here to whine about sales. If I am slow I usually look for a reason. ....but to say that nothing happened on the 13th? Well, that would be a lie.
The graph you see is clicks and sales on my Promoted OFFSITE ads.
Something looks sorta off... don't it?

·8 months agoMy sales have been horrible since they made the change. I did stop promoting my listings right before January 13th, because I thought their new way of doing it is a rip off. I am not happy.

Instead, pass the cost ONTO THE CUSTOMER.
I've added 50 cents to my handling fee per sale and continued promoting at the minimum rate. No slowdown here.
If any customer is upset about the 50 cents price increase (and none have said a word) they can complain to EBAY about their attribution policy.

·8 months agoNot on my end. I think I have seen a consistent decrease for about 3 weeks and compared to December and early January, sales are down about 50%.
Maybe it's just me, but things do seem to be getting pretty ugly. And considering that a good portion of my sales came from sponsored campaigns, the update where they changed the attribution on Jan 13th did not help. Sales were down and my costs skyrocketed an additional almost 10%.

·8 months agoAnyone else having a problem with "frozen" buy it now button, add to watch list button?
This is not account specific, tried different accounts. I've tried everything, clearing cache,
resetting browser, etc over and again....aside from using Chrome which I will not do.
It seems correlated to the date that the new promoted listings rule went into effect.
So basically can't buy anything on a desktop. Hugely frustrating!

·8 months agoI had my first day...January 22th with no sales...that's a first...LOL!
Maybe they were doing something in the algorithms yesterday.
I never had a 'no sale day' as I can recall.
Which is cool😎 because I don't have to ship anything out.

·8 months ago10 days in and there is still major site issues, my organic sales have dropped more than 50% with my promoted staying the same. Leave sales way down from normal January sales. It's getting ugly
