Every time I do a search in a specific category it defaults to All Categories.

Enter your search keywords and search, then choose the category from the category tree on the left side of the search results page if you are using a desktop browser.
Choosing the category first and then searching does not work in many cases.

What doesn't work, exactly? As long as there are results in that category, it will work.
If you explain what you are searching for, keywords and category, I will try the same search and provide a link.

OP4 months agoMy guess (hope) is sometimes when this wonky stuff happens Ebay is currently undergoing some testing or change. Then in a couple hours everything is back to normal.

OP4 months agoThanks again for the reply, appreciate that. Turns out I needed to clear my cache/cookies and hat fixed the issue.
