Error Blocking Listing Under $2,500 Limit
Hello,
I am trying to list an item priced at $550 USD, but I keep receiving the following error message:
“It appears you're listing an item valued at or above US$2500 with shipping to the US. According to our eBay Seller Listing Policy, this item can't be listed unless you have a dedicated account manager.â€
This appears to be incorrect, since my listing is well below the $2,500 threshold. According to the updated Seller Listing Policy, this restriction should only apply to items priced at or above $2,500 (including shipping) to US buyers, unless the seller has a dedicated account manager.
Other sellers have also reported the same issue on eBay Community forums and Reddit, where listings below $2,500 are being incorrectly blocked. This suggests there may be a system error, miscalculation of total cost (item + shipping), or a bug affecting international sellers.
Could you please:
-Confirm why my $1,350 item is being blocked under this policy.
-Check if shipping calculations are mistakenly pushing the total over $2,500.
-Escalate this issue to technical support if it’s a platform bug.
I would appreciate your help in resolving this, as I cannot currently list my items due to this error.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
ladybugmls
·11 months agoI think the policy is referring to the value of the item being abovs $2500, not the price at which you listed it.
