Thanks for the reply. It seems to be an issue between the ebay app and google chrome. As far as I know I've disabled the ad blocker. Samsung internet works. Google chrome doesn't. Google doesn't and the app doesn't, so I'll use Samsung internet (which also uses google). Driving computers etc is not my strong suit.

If you are using a mobile browser and one browser displays the description and one does not, try clearing your cache in the original browser, and try possibly manually deleting just your eBay cookies in that browser to see if that makes any difference.
I am using a Samsung tablet. Regularly I delete my chrome browsing history, including cashed images and files. Just did it again. Same results. App, Chrome,
Google-no descriptions. Samsung Google- OK. I don't understand, but I can live with it.
