ebay will not allow me to add listings to my watch list | Report eBay Technical Issues

When I try to add a listing, to my watch list, I get a message telling me to remove items from my watch list so that I can add more items. I only have 6 items in my watch list. How can this be fixed? There is a long list of previously purchased items. Could this be the problem? If so, how do I delete that list? Thanks
