eBay send still down?
I'm still not able to order shipping labels through ebay. I sell TCG and I can't create the eBay Standard envelope shipping labels (or any shipping labels at all).
I called in and the rep said the issue should be solved by October... she suggested I use pirate ship. Of course this is fine with USPS ground shipment but for eBay Standard envelope I have to use regular stamps and lose out of on the tracking.
Any suggestions here? I hope I'm not the only one dealing with this.

·11 months agoSince OP has tried different browsers, checked the addresses, the only one left that would affect all labels is if there is something wrong with the payment method.
@cesuhtcg Are you paying postage with your ebay account or PayPal account?

·11 months agoYes, try switching it to PayPal on the next label and see if that clears the problem. If it does, then you want to check your ebay backup payment method for postage in your ebay wallet, before switching back.

·11 months agoKeep in mind @cesuhtcg when you test using PayPal you'll have to do it with a USPS package service (like Ground Adv) because eBay Standard Envelope (and several other services) can only be paid for with eBay funds.

OP11 months agoAhh this doesn’t help me at all then because my main issue is eBay standard envelope. I can get around the USPS using click and ship but the eBay standard envelope I can’t replicate because of tracking. I have to use stamps

·11 months agoIf you only can use ebay funds, then check your payment method in your ebay Wallet.

If eSE is the problem, in addition to checking your payment method you should verify all details such as weight, dimensions, making sure buyer's address is in the US (there are errors if buyer enters Puerto Rico in the 'country' field), item value, category, etc.
As mentioned, there were minor problems earlier this week that were resolved which is why I asked you to try again last night to see if you were still having problems. When was the last time you tried to purchase a label?
Can you provide a list of 3 item numbers impacted?

·11 months agoThere was a brief eBay Send issue on Sunday that was resolved same day - it wasn't widespread.
I've looked around and I'm not seeing others reporting problems. The problem is likely somewhere on your end.
What happens when you try to purchase shipping labels? Is there an error message? What exact steps are you taking and where is the process getting hung up?
Have you tried using different browsers? Private browsing mode? The app?
Is this happening with every transaction or just one specific transaction?

Side note to @kyle@ebay - can you have this CS call reviewed? Super odd if CS is giving out wild info saying the seller won't be able to purchase labels until October. I'm hoping it's just a misunderstanding because that's one of the craziest CS responses I've seen.

OP11 months agotried on different browsers. I also tried changing my ship from adddress because I read that previously people were having issues with the 2nd line of an address (I’ve printed many labels prior)
the issue happens when I try to purchase the label. When I click purchase the error comes up “something went wrongâ€
it happens for all types of labels including eBay envelope and usps ground shipment.
Ive never had this issue before

·11 months agoI wish I could help you. I am not having issues with any labels, including eBay Standard Envelope. I just printed one of those last night.
