Ebay relisted my item that was already sold.
I'm in desperate need of a phone number for customer service. I canceled a buyer's offer and for some reason, Ebay relisted it. Now I have another buyer that I need to cancel.
Please can someone post the phone number. Thanks.

·2 weeks agoAs mam98031 you probably had the box checked to automatically relist any cancel item. I might be wrong on this but I think that is an autochecked box so that you have to uncheck the box in order to not get relists done automatically.

OP2 weeks agoI think you’re right. I didn’t even notice that box but saw it after the fact. They should have it unchecked so one would have to check it for a re-listing.

·2 weeks ago@dena8200 We all have to be a bit careful when listing things on ebay. Some of the time the process is NOT intuitive.

·2 weeks agoCheck the listing set up itself. Go into REVISE the listing. There is a spot in there to automatically relist the item. Make sure you do not have that box checked as it is likely the reason this is happening.
At the top and bottom of every page in Ebay are links to contact Customer Service.
You should save this information as it can come in handy from time to time. At the very bottom is a link in which you can request Ebay to call you.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365.
