Ebay puts policy violations on all my listings just because buyers opened return cases
Summary: madison-jewelry expressed concern over eBay applying policy violations to all their listings due to buyers opening return cases. sassykzt engaged in the discussion, but no additional details or solutions were provided in the responses.
Since 4/10/2026, hundreds of my listings have been automatically delisted and marked as “policy violations” related to buyer returns and open cases. In the past, return is return, ebay would not delist all my listings due to return case.
When I click “Resolve,” the system redirects me to the Resolution Hub. However, when I select the violation item, the only option available is “End Listing.” After clicking “End Listing,” the system displays the following error message:
“End listing failed. Please try again later.”
Because the system does not allow me to close these cases, all of my active listings remain blocked. I am unable to sell, edit listings, or create new listings.
It has now been more than 45 days, and I have contacted eBay support approximately 15 times. Different representatives have provided different explanations — some said it is a technical issue, while others described it as a global platform issue. Each time, I was asked to wait 24, 48, or 72 hours, but the problem still has not been resolved.
It is extremely frustrating that such a serious technical issue has remained unresolved for over 40 days and continues to severely impact my business operations on eBay.
Please escalate this matter to the appropriate technical team and provide a permanent solution as soon as possible. I would also appreciate a clear timeline for resolution.
Thank you.
