all matters can't be resolved in these online support options. what happened to customer phone service? my issues in the past were quickly resolved by direct phone support. now ebay is avoiding quick phone support for time consuming online help options which rarely help.
I AM HAVING AN ISSUE WITH AN UNETHICAL SELLER WHO TOOK MY MONEY AND AFTER 2 WEEKS DID NOT EVEN PROVIDED A TRACKING NUMBER OR REPLIED TO MY MESSAGES. E-BAY HAS "AI" ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ANSWERING PHONE CALLS. NO REAL HELP SO FAR FROM E-BAY. IT'S GETTING BAD
It is simple for a buyer to win an "item not received" case with eBay if the seller cannot provide tracking that shows delivery. There is no need to speak to anyone at eBay as long as you open your "item not received" case within thirty days of the last estimated delivery date shown at the time of your purchase and then ask eBay to step in after three business days if the seller does not cooperate at that point. Once a claim has been started, the buyer has up to twenty-one business days to ask eBay to step in and force a refund. After that, the case is automatically closed without a refund, and eBay can no longer help.
If you have waited too long to start a claim or to ask eBay to step in, you may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer some protection for items that are not received for up to six months from the date of purchase.
Have you read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers? Please do that. Then, if you still need help, feel free to return here and give all the relevant details of your situation.

·1 year agoeBay disabled CS phone service for cold calls in early 2020. Some inquiries on the help pages will present a call option and an access code.
Most issues can be solved without CS intervention and there is a wealth of experience on this forum if you want to post your questions here.
If you prefer to contact CS you can go through the help pages or use the chat option on the left side of this page:

You may have to go through several prompts to access a live agent.
