·2 years agoMight need a credit card on file....in case your purchase with $25. eBay card is more than $25.

OP2 years agoI have multiple cards on file and have for 8 years. it is another account one that I sell on but is mostly a buying account.

·2 years agoNew eBay gift cards can take up to 4 hours to become active from the time of purchase.
Not all categories qualify for gift card purchases, and the seller and buyer may have to both be in North America.

It might be worth trying to purchase your items separately in case one particular item is holding up the transaction.

OP2 years agoGift Card was activated day before Christmas, shows on EBAY as active and having a $25 balance and the seller is in the USA.

·2 years agoMusic cd, just bought some a few days ago with an ebay gift card from last year that still had money on it and everything was fine. This new card my son gave me for Christmas is active and has a $25 balance and I keep getting error message to "VIEW CHECK PAYMENT DETAILS or USE A DIFFERENT FORM OF PAYMENT". I spoke with an EBAY account specialist from another Country and they are telling me I NEED TO GO TO MY BANK to ask them what the problem is, Laughable! It's a prepaid EBAY GIFT CARD.
