eBay Misrepresents Coupon Code Savings
I have a coupon for $10 off 5 or more items that encourages buyers to purchase larger quantities and pass along some savings from combined shipping. eBay recently changed how this coupon is displayed both in a browser and the mobile app. Instead of just a banner ad at the top of the listing with the promotion and terms, eBay now shows the $10 coupon savings applied immediately below the item price. I have had numerous buyers message me confused why the discount is not working.
For example, the following pricing information appears on one of my listings. This item is not available for $5.99. If a buyer purchased quantity 5, then the $10 discount applies for an average price per item of $13.99.
This is frustrating for buyers and needs to be corrected.

OP8 months agoI spoke with eBay support on Friday regarding this issue was told it would be brought to the attention of the appropriate team.
