I've been seeing a lot of users report issues (including app freezing/crashing) with the live videos autoplaying so I'm really hoping eBay will have that fixed with this weekend's app update. It's not crashing my iOS app, but it's so annoying!
In the meantime, when you open the app, tap on a different tabimmediatelylike Search or My eBay to avoid your app freezing. Get off the home screen. If you can't do that, then use the website for a couple days and hopefully the problem will be fixed with the next update.
Anybody having problems whose app is not frozen can shake their phone and when the pop up appears tap on report technical issue or submit feedback. It's the best way to let eBay know there are problems. You can do the same from the web by tapping the ? on the lower right - just specify in your report that the problem is with the app.
