double charged for shipping (I'm the seller).
I was charged twice by ebay for the shipping label for Item no. 26-14955-52576. I've tried (spent half an hour) on the "Contact us" site, nothing but a machine and absolutely no answer that remotely related to my issue. The shipping charge of $11.84 was paid by the buyer, he received the item, but my account was charged the $11.84 twice. I've had no success in getting through to someone for assistance, or help.

·1 week agoSame thing happened to me about three years ago. eBay double charged a shipping fee of $8.50 that shouldn’t even have been charged one time. I called eBay and they said they had no record of the charge but my bank did twice with the same transaction number on both charges. eBay stated that I needed to work it out with my bank. they had nothing to do with it so I filed with my bank and got the charges reversed as soon as that happened. eBay went nuts. They started de-listing my items restricted my selling abilities. And as soon as I made a sale, they snatched they $17 right off the top. Four a charge that they had no record of.
I feel for you and I have bad news for you. I have spent way too much time on the phone with eBay than would have should have even been necessary. I’ve had 10 conversations with them of at least an hour and a half each. And as you know, it takes at least a half hour to bring you to the position where you can actually speak to a human.
.Every contact with eBay starts out as a brand new conversation. They make you start from the beginning and explain everything all over again even though you know that they have notes in their system. They’ll have to transfer you to different departments and after about an hour, someone will promise you results in 72 hours. That never happens. So you call them back up again and it would seem like no forward. Movement is achieved while you’re not on the phone with them. Actually, even when you’re on the phone with them, they do not create any forward movement they just stall for time and waste your time and then tell you it’s gonna be fixed in 72 hours. That’s their game.

OP1 week agoI don't know how you even got someone on the phone! I haven't been able to. Another responder suggested going to the USPS for help, which I did, and they quickly corrected it by cancelling one of the shipping labels that ebay, not me, had created. They had no problem cancelling it because it had never been used. Their view was that it never existed, hence shouldn't be charged. Ebay then did refund the extra charge, I think they had no choice.

·2 weeks agodo both of the labels show up in your shipping labels history? Request a cancel and refund on the one that was not used - that comes from USPS.
