So, I have a listing: White Gold Colored Cat Brooch Pin
When I open this listing, the center image is missing—it flashes for a split second and then disappears. Now I’m wondering how many of my listings might be doing this. I first noticed it in the gallery view while checking my active listings. The gallery picture was grayed out. When I opened the listing, there was a big gray square where the main image should be; the gallery pictures came back, but the large gray picture stayed. I have refreshed, trying to edit and resave, but it only shows the grayed out square.
I need to either find my original pictures or end the listing so I can retake them.

·4 months agoWe are also experiencing issues under the Coins and Currency categories. As a draft, the images appear but once they are listed, the main photo disappears and the rest are visible. However, there are times when none of the images appear. We are using the CSV bulk upload referencing external URLs for the images.

·4 months agoGood Day Fellow eBayers,
I have noticed this exact issue for many, many months in my inactive listings. It has now progressed in number of items involved, as well as to my current listings.
I have a starter store listing 250 items/monthly. I end and rotate items from active to inactive on a monthly basis. On average, it takes 6-8 weeks for an ended listing to rotate back to "live" status.
This category has the most "dropped" pics, requiring re-upload. Very tedious and time-consuming!
Because of this glitch?, now when I select items from the inactive folder to place live, I peruse each one to ensure all the pics & info are there before I list. Sadly, I just noticed one of my currents lost 8:12 pics and it was only initiated 2 weeks ago with 2 weeks remaining.
I also notice there has been no resolution posted from eBay tech since the original post. This is surprising! If a customer can't see an item, they're not buying and if they're not buying, eBay is losing $.
Blessings to all!

OP4 months agoWe really need more responses for eBay to take notice.
When only a few people report the issue, it usually doesn’t trigger a tech response.
I guess not enough people are experiencing/reporting it, so it’s not considered a priority yet....

·4 months agoI have noticed this on items in my "unsold" file.
I have also noticed that it is getting worse, as in more are showing as gray boxes.
I have not noticed it in active listings but then I seldom look at my active stuff.

·4 months agoIt has now leached over to actives. But it again is hard to see anyway as the main photo is there. Unless you click on the listing one wouldn't know there other 23 photos are missing.

This is getting SO much worse! Each day I have more and more. At first it was a couple old listings and I figured oh well, I will just update them. But now it is so frustrating.
Sometimes now the main photo is there but others are missing. You can't tell unless you click on the listing and realize no photos are there. If you are lucky a customer will tell you.
These are not all old listings as my listings are refreshed every few months or so.
Is this still happening to anyone? Is ebay tech looking into this at all?
Have a good day all......

·4 months agoI have this as well on 2 listings.
One was like that for a few weeks. I was going to retake photos. I put in the inactive listings. Many days later the photos reappeared and I was so happy. Then, the photos disappeared again. 🤔
Now I have another listing with no photos so that makes 2. I put back in the inactive listings.
Edit to Add: I have been unable to cut and paste to the forum for weeks now. Sorry I can't provide a photo.
