Connecting to our server error

Hello.
Trying to place a bid for 2 days and receiving the following message.
Oops! Looks like we’re having trouble connecting to our server. Refresh your browser window to try again.
The ebay system page says everything is OK. I've closed my browser, Firefox 154.0, cleared the cache manually and still get the message.
I've also tried bidding on a different item and received the same message and a different browser, Brave browser.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Thank you in advance.

OP1 week agoNot using a VPN, hotspot, or Starlink. Cleared all cookies, including ebay, closed and restarted. Same issue. I'll try the app, but if it works that doesn't resolve the underlying problem.

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? If so, try another network connection.
Or try placing a bid using the eBay app when not using your usual WiFi.

·1 week agoFirefox is the most reliable browser for use on ebay. Besides clearing your cache also clear any ebay cookies, then close and restart Firefox and try again.
