Changes to Camera in the App beginning of May
I have been using the eBay app to take my pictures for over a year. It seems that yesterday, May 2, the camera isn't working the same. The viewfinder isn't what your pictures will actually look like, everything is sized incorrectly, you can't turn to landscape. Turning to landscape so the shutter button is in your left hand disappeared entirely. Is anyone else having trouble with changes to the app's camera?
Why change things that aren't broken? If it's for your AI backgrounds or something, stop it. Every attempt to help Sellers seems to make it worse.

·5 months agoI have noticed that too, I thought it might be me, but the pictures seem to be like stretched or I don't know what, just that they do not look right. And still take forever to load. For awhile they were looking really good...but as with all things ebay...can't leave things that work alone.
And in ebays feeble attempt to "fix" the Compat Chart info and functional failures, still cannot scroll down, all vehicle starting with mid alphabet letters forget about listing, same with the year scroll...

·5 months agoI suspect this camera issue is related to the push of Live content.
This is also happening to me - in the preview, my item is centered, but when I take the photo, the whole room is in the photo including my legs!
This, along with removing my notification button in the app and replacing it with the LIVE button, which I have no use for, is infuriating!
ebay - fix this - I will never do "lives" - how much can I really say about a 40 year old Tupperware lid???? And who would listen??
Stop trying to be relevant and stick to what works - this is a double click tax we are now having to pay.
