Can't update my personal information / address
Hi All,
My problem is not with an item but with account settings. I originally created this account in early 2000s and have some good rating on it that would like to keep.
But the account was created in Russia. I have since moved to Europe and been living in Norway and then Germany for past 5 years.

My problem now is that I can't change the shipping/billing address to my current address in Berlin, even though I have a confirmed phone number, etc.
When I try to change or add address in account settings, it says "something went wrong, please try again later" and it never works
Please help!

·1 year agoHi @iliakaluzhny . There are very few scenarios where an eBay member can change country of registration. You cannot change from Russia to anywhere else. You will need to create a new account to register in a different country.

First of all, I would remove the pictures as they show your personal information.
Second.
I cannot recall if you can change an account that drastically. I mean, a different address in the same country would be easy enough, but changing countries might not work. A lot of things change for the account when you set the country.
I suspect you will need to create a new account for the country you reside in. I don't think you can change your account from one country to another. I may be wrong, but then its not like this gets asked a lot here. Someone else might have a different opinion. But I'm betting you won't be able to change that account in that fashion.
