Can't send messages on iOS app.

Whenever I try to send or reply to messages on the iOS app the text will disappear while I'm typing and I have to re-type it. Also, when I am able to write a message without it disappearing, either the send button is greyed out, or it will send the message to a different person than who I am typing to. For now, I'm having to use the browser to send messages.

What version number of the eBay app are you using? Is it the latest available for your OS?
