Can't pay for anything

Put an item in my cart to buy and when I click to "only pay this seller" I get this:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to pay.ebay.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I tried with multiple other sellers that I have in my cart and same message.

I cleared my cache. Same message.

Other websites are loading and behaving normally.

Browser or app? Latest version?

I just successfully completed checkout and paid using PayPal on a Windows 10 machine with a Firefox browser. And another successful checkout with multiple items in my cart using "pay this seller" and using a credit card on file with eBay.

If you have multiple items in your cart, try saving each of them for later; a problem with one item or one seller can cause other transactions to fail. Try purchasing one item by itself in an otherwise empty cart, if possible.

Browser, and it was telling me that the page wasn't secure, which is what happens when they're a problem with the SSL configuration. Anyway, it's fixed now. Thanks for your comment ðŸ™‚

Hey @antipathy! I just checked and there is an open ticket for "Buyers unable to purchase the listings due to an error message, "'Hmm...can't reach this page'/'This site can't be reached'". The sitewide ticket under ALERT16112 to be resolved.

Use this link > eBay Home Page to locate the icon on the home page to "Report a technical problem" to eBay (see screenshot below).

To expedite your issue, remember to include the Alert number in your report. For the eBay App user: You can try shaking the App or uninstalling/reinstalling the App.

Nope. My browser was telling me the page wasn't secure so my guess it that it had something to do with the SSL

Im having the same problem. Refuses to connect to ebay pay server. Says I dont have a connection. Other site areas work fine. Lets hope they get this fixed soon.......
